Issad Rebrab, CEO of Cevital, and Jim Clarke, CEO of Clarke Energy (UK), have signed an agreement to supply two power plants with a total capacity of 39.6 megawatts to both strategic plants of the Cevital Group: the Brandt plant for electrical appliances in Sétif and the rolling mill in Oran.
This agreement is Clarke Energy’s largest order to date in North Africa. This decentralised electricity generation facility, which uses very high-performance technology in the form of Jenbacher GE gas engines, strengthens the energy security of the Cevital Group plants while complying with environmental standards. Commissioning of the power stations is scheduled for summer 2016.
