A Cevital subsidiary established in 2015, Metalsider specialises in reselling steel products from Italian subsidiary Aferpi SpA (joint-stock company) in the same condition as received.

A project to create a steel plant that will produce concrete rods is underway in Oran (Hassi Meur), Algeria, with a capacity of 750,000 tonnes.
