Established in 1998 and located within the port of Béjaïa, Cevital Agro-Industrie operates various state-of-the-art production units:

• Two sugar refineries
• One liquid sugar plant
• One oil refinery
• One margarine factory
• One mineral water packaging plant
• One soft drinks manufacturing and packaging plant
• One canning plant
• One quicklime manufacturing plant

Cevital Agro-Industrie also owns port silos and a port unloading terminal with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes/h, making it the primary port unloading terminal in the Mediterranean.

Cevital Agro-Industrie’s high-performance facilities, expertise, strict quality control and distribution network enable it to design high-quality products at competitive prices. It meets domestic demand and has contributed to Algeria’s transformation from an importer to an exporter in oils, margarine and sugar. Its products are sold in several countries, including in Europe, the Maghreb, the Middle East and West Africa.

Cevital Agro-Industrie is the leader in Algeria’s agri-foodstuffs sector and has the largest private facility in Algeria.

Cevital Agro-Industrie’s customers include some of the biggest names in the agro-business world, such as Coca-Cola, Kraft Food, Danone and more.
