A busy end of year 2017 for Cevital Group!

NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY:
Cevital’s Food Processing and Distribution division took part in the FCIE (Food & Consumer Industries Exhibition) last October in Qatar. The main interest of the group’s participation in this exhibition dedicated to agri-food professionals is to export Cevital’s brand internationally.

Cevital also participated in the 4th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack West Africa, which opened its doors from December 5 to 7, at the Accra International Conference Center in Ghana. Cevital was present to exhibit agro-industrial technologies and solutions as well as food products. Among the visitors that the group had the honor to receive; the Algerian ambassador to Ghana as well as a delegation of Ghanaian ministers.

Brandt Algeria and other Cevital Group subsidiaries exhibited their many different Algerian products during the Algerian Production Fair at the Palais des Expositions in Algiers from December 21 to 27.

INNOVATION:
In September, Cevital Group was the sponsor of a seminar on the theme of “Digital Revolution: innovate, undertake, enhance and share.” This seminar organized by Jisr France-Djazaïr addressed the challenges of innovation and the role of Algerian-French cooperation in the field of technology. Cevital was keen on supporting and joining Jisr France-Djazair in this initiative, given the importance the group places on innovation, which is one of the foundations of its development policy.

TRAINING AND RESEARCH:
On November 14, 2017, UNO organized a forum around marketing professions in the mass-market sector in partnership with Kolea’s Business School in Tipaza. This event aimed to develop the collaboration between NUMIDIS SPA and ESC Kolea in terms of training, research and professional opportunities, so as to facilitate the insertion of young talents in the business world.

Students from the University of Tlemcen had the opportunity to attend a conference on December 4 hosted by the president founder of Cevital Group, Issad Rebrab, around the theme of “co-innovation / co-production and development of the territory “. Issad Rebrab was invited to share his rich experience in terms of economic innovation and talk about investment opportunities in Africa.

DEVELOPMENT AND COMPETITIVENESS:
According to the report “African Globalizers 2017”, Cevital is placed in the 5th rank of the top 30 African companies with an international expansion. The group is the only Algerian multinational among six North African groups in this ranking.

Brandt Group won the “Janus de l’Industrie” for the new collection of household appliances “Fascination” from De-Dietrich. Brandt has reached a level of global recognition in the household equipment industry thanks to its quest for excellence, its know-how and through the implementation of the most developed technologies. Last year, Brandt Intellect washing machine, an Algerian product, was also elected “Janus de l’Industrie 2016” only two years after the opening of Brandt factory in Algeria.
